PRO-RATION Ultimate Tactical Ration: half-day is a compact 12-hour tactical ration designed for shorter missions, patrols, field work, hiking and other situations where food needs to travel with your gear and conventional catering is unavailable. The MRE was developed in cooperation with professionals and members of the armed forces and tested in field conditions and real-world operations.
Each food pack combines a 400 g main meal, energy-rich snacks, hot drinks and practical accessories for eating and use in the field. The main meal is ready to eat and can also be consumed cold. No electricity, gas, stove or open flame is needed for a hot meal – the included flameless heater allows the sealed meal pouch to be heated inside the ration’s outer packaging.
PRO-RATION main meals are ready-to-eat meals made from 100% natural ingredients, not freeze-dried or dehydrated foods that need to be reconstituted with water, and have a shelf life of up to 15 years. The meals are hermetically sealed and sterilised, allowing the long shelf life to be achieved without the use of chemical preservatives.
